Prof. Ginevra Balletto

Prof. Ginevra Balletto is Associate Professor of Urban Planning at the University of Cagliari (DICAAR) and holds the Italian National Scientific Qualification for Full Professor in Urban Planning.

Her research activity focuses on territorial and environmental planning, with particular attention to mining areas, sustainable urban regeneration, mobility, and ecological transition processes. She has participated in numerous national and international research projects, including studies on the recovery and remediation of abandoned mining sites (RE-MINE) and projects related to strategic planning and urban sustainability.

Her contribution to the MINES.B Scientific Committee is closely connected to strategies for territorial regeneration and sustainable planning of post-industrial landscapes.
